Week 33 of 52 Weeks – Gold/Silver
Gold or Silver – Kind of a difficult one I think! But I had a pretty good idea – well, in theory at least!! Sunflowers! So beautiful and golden and there is an amazing field full of them that I drove by last week. I waited a couple days until I had a free evening and took my daughter over there….and it was too late. The heat possibly had shriveled up almost every last one of the sunflowers! There were just a couple little pathetic ones here and there. The saddest part was I did the same thing last year – saw the beautiful field, waited a couple days, missed the window – I guess I don’t learn! But we got some golden flowers worked into our already golden evening!

I caught my daughter having a “Tangled” moment: singing the healing incantation (you know, flowers gleam and glow, make your power shine…) from the Disney movie!
